Information for our patients
Scheduling, refills, and test results

Insurance:

Appointments: Please use the Patient Portal to request an appointment.  You may also call 330-433-1258 to schedule an appointment.

If you are unable to keep your appointment, it is necessary for you to call the office and cancel your appointment as soon as possible. We require that you call at least 24 hours in advance, and calling early in the day is appreciated. Appointments are in high demand, and your early call cancellation will allow another person the opportunity to have access to timely medical care.

How to cancel your appointment: Please call the office at 330-433-1258 between the hours of 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Prescriptions: Please use the Patient Portal for prescription refill requests.

You may also call for prescription refill requests between the hours of 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

Once the physician reviews your medical record and approves your request, your refill will be sent electronically or called into your pharmacy. Please allow 48 hours for a refill request to be completed. Prescriptions will not be called in after-hours, weekends or holidays. 

Referrals: Referrals to other physicians or diagnostic facilities can take up to 72 hours for our office to process. Often prior authorization is needed by insurance companies, and it takes time to receive an authorization back.

Test Results: Should you have laboratory work or other diagnostic testing done through our office, you will be notified of the results as soon as they are available. All results are reviewed by the physician. You will then receive a call from the nurse, explaining your results and the need for further treatment if indicated. If you do not hear from us after one week, please call the office.

Feedback or Concerns: If you have a compliment or concern about the care you receive with AMG Podiatry, please direct it to our Practice Administrator Paul Herrick.  You may be asked to put your complaint in writing for training purposes. To contact Paul, please call 330-684-1300 or email.
